The vertices of triangle FGH have coordinates F(−5, 2), G(−4, 2), and H(−4, 3). Which coordinates are the coordinates of the vertices of triangle FꞌGꞌHꞌ when triangle FGH is translated 1 unit right and 3 units down? A. Fꞌ(−6, −1), Gꞌ(−5, −1), Hꞌ(−5, 0). B. Fꞌ(−4, 5), Gꞌ(−3, 5), Hꞌ(−3, 6). C. Fꞌ(−4, −1), Gꞌ(−3, −1), Hꞌ(−3, 0). D. Fꞌ(−6, 5), Gꞌ(−5, 5), Hꞌ(−5, 6)

In order to calculate the new vertices, we simply add 1 to the value of x in each point since the translation is towards the positive x-axis and subtract 3 from the y values of each point since the translation is towards the negative y-axis.
