9^3 x 9^-8 = 0.0000169351 or 9^-5. 3 + -8 = -5.
Kendal
9^-1 = 0.1111111111 or 1/9
9^-2 = 0.012345679 or 1/9 divide 9. Which is just 1/9 x 1/9. Or 1/9^2.
9^-2 = 1/9^2
Therefore,
9^3 x 9^-8 = 9^-5 or just 1/9^5.
