5*6=20*2=40
65/40= 1 with
15 patches left over

I believe that you would have 5 patches left over, because you want to multiply 6x5=30 and then he has two quilts that equal 30. So, you now multiply 30 x 2, which equals 60 and you subtract 65 - 60, which equals 5.
