f(x) = x - 4

g(x) = 2x

We need to find g(f(-2)), which means

Find f(-2) at first by substitute x by -2 in f

f(-2) = (-2) - 4 = -2 - 4 = -6

Replace f(-2) by -6

Now we need to find g(-6)

Substitute x in g by -6

g(-6) = 2(-6) = -12

g(f(-2)) = -12
