First, hieroglyphs are most popularly known to be used in Egypt. Second, hieroglyphs are a written language using drawn pictures, unlike English, where we use the 26-letter alphabet. Third, our letters in the alphabet stand for sound we make through speaking. Hieroglyphs stand for words and actions.
