How do you plot an ordered pair on a coordinate plane?

Answer:

coordinates are paired as (x,y) and there are designated lines that are x and y. in order to plot the x value on the horizontal line (side to side) then go up or down however many per y value. if the coordinates are (4,5) then go over 4 positive, and go up 5 positive. if the pair is (-3,-6) then go left to -3, then down to -6. hope this makes sense and helps you ;]
