12am=4 Divide both sides by "12m" to have "a".. Thus, a=4/12m since 4/12 is reducable to d lowest term, we have the final answer to be: a=1/3m OR a=(1/3)/m

First, divide both sides by 12 to get am alone
am=1/3
Now, divide both sides by m to get a alone
a=1/3 / m
