Well, they're never stable because of the footprint we leave on Earth. We pollute the Earth without meaning to. So it's definitely either fragile, or adaptable. Hope this helps!

We constantly alter the stability of the earth by pollution, global warming. So I think its fair to say that we live in a fragile world that only grow more fragile by moment on our account and yes I believe were adaptable to a certain extent
