Help please! The side of a square is (4x - 2y). What is the perimiter of the square? I am SUPER confused. This is due in 20 minutes, I dont have much time...... Any Takers?? Good Points.

oh gosh, I'm confused myself..
But wouldn't it be (4x - 2y) x 4 ?Because lets pretend (4x-2y) equaled 5.
so you would do 5+5+5+5 (5x4) because there are 4 sides on a square!
Am i right? xD

remember the sides of a square are all equal legnth
4 sides
pereimiter=4s where s is the legnth of a side
so
P=4(4x-2y)
P=16x-8y
the periimiter is 16x-8y
