Answer:

B. Too much comfort and lack of work will make humans weak and unintelligent.

Step-by-step explanation:

Eloi in The Time Machine is a science fiction novel by H. G. Wells. It is thought to be the first science fiction work to propose the concept of time travel using a vehicle that allows its operator to travel purposely and selectively.

The character known only as "The Time Traveler", develops, based on mathematical concepts, a machine capable of moving through the Fourth Dimension, in this case considered as the dimension of time. With her, she travels until the year 802.701 AD where she finds the Eloi, peaceful and docile remnants of humans, apparently living in a paradisiac world, without any kind of worries or work, which leaves them weak and unintelligent. At one point in history, the Eloi realize that they actually serve as food for another race, the Morlocks, who live in the underground and who, although once dominated by the Eloles, have become predators of these.
