This is combustion reaction because it is a reaction between a hydrocarbon and oxygen and results in carbon dioxide and water.

C6H12O6 + 3O2 --> 3CO2 + 6H2O

Answer : The balanced chemical reaction will be,

C_6H_(12)O_6(s)+6O_2(g)\rightarrow 6CO_2(g)+6H_2O(g)

Explanation :

Balanced chemical equation : It is defined as the number of atoms of individual elements present on reactant side must be equal to the product side.

As per question, when a glucose molecule is oxidized in the body then it produced water and carbon dioxide as a product.

The balanced chemical reaction will be,

C_6H_(12)O_6(s)+6O_2(g)\rightarrow 6CO_2(g)+6H_2O(g)

This reaction is also known as the combustion reaction in which the hydrocarbon molecule react with the oxygen to give carbon dioxide and water as a product.
