Taylor is competing in a 30 km race. She has already run 12.35 km through a park and swam 3.75 km. She will bike the rest of the way.

How far does Taylor need to bike to finish the race?

8.6 km
13.9 km
16.1 km
17.65 km

The answer is 13.9
How:
You subtract 12.35km from the total which is 30km and you get 17.65km but she also swam 3.75km so you subtract 3.75km from 17.65 and you get 13.9 and that's how much she km she has left in the race!:)
