As the snow melted the water ran into the rivers, causing them to rise and flood. As the flood waters receded the silt was deposited along the river banks thus providing fertile soil for farming. The problem was that the flooding of the Tigris and Euphrates was not predictable and often was destructive so the answer is T or True

This answer would be true.

The floods happened yearly and the slit was loose soil carried by water that creates rich farmland.
