b+1.20=p
2.25b+1.75p=15.22
sub b+1.20 for p
2.25b+1.75(b+1.20)=15.22
2.25b+1.75b+2.1=15.22
minus 2.1 from both sides
4b=13.12
divide both sides by 4
b=3.28
sub back
b+1.20=p
3.28+1.20=p
4.48=p
2.25*3.28=7.38
1.75*4.48=7.84
