For us to find the length and width of the open box which each has a volume of 50 cubic inches, then x is equal to 2. Then it would look like this: width is equal length which is equal to x-2-2 and which is also equal to x-4 and h is equal to 2. Then through derivation, width and length which is equal to x-4 will be equal to -5. But since there’s no way that length and width can be negative, the answer for it would be 5.
