Casey said that 0.03 × 1000 is 3 explain why Casey's answer is not correct. What mistake do you think he made ?

There a decimal point and 0.03 is not a whole number. (Hopefully that helps)

When multiplying decimals, you will always love the decimal to the right. Since there are three 0's in your problem, you will move the decimal three places to the right. So the answer should be 30. But her mistake was she only moved the decimal place over 2 times
