Why did Britain impose the Sugar Act and Quartering Act?

Quartering act housed British soldiers as a means to house simply, some believe it also contributed to some form of detective work. Sugar act was profit for the British and also helped with the French Indian war

The quartering act because it was cheaper for them, and also the sugar acts so that they could profit
