The form of the slope-intercept equation is

y=mx+b

m is the slope

b is the y-intercept

Since m = -1

Since b = -7

Substitute them in the form of the equation above

\begin{gathered} y=-1(x)+(-7) \\ \\ y=-x-7 \end{gathered}

The answer is

y = -x - 7
