Eastern Gray Squirrel
The eastern gray squirrel is an animal that is usually found in trees (it is arboreal).
It is an accumulator animal, that is, it keeps seeds that can stay in a certain hiding place for days and even months, so the squirrel has a very precise notion of space.
Due to its behavior with seeds, the gray squirrel is considered an important forest regenerator.
This animal is originally from the eastern or midwestern United States or even a small part of southern Canada (it can be found in parts of Europe and there it is an invasive species).
Its place in the food web is that of a primary consumer, so it is of the 2nd trophic level.
