The battle of Britain was significant because it the first major campaign to be fought by air-craft and also the most sustained aerial bombing campaign as well

the first battle of Britain was the major campaign fought by the entire air forces and was also the largest and most sustained battle .the battle of Britain was marked as the first defeat of hitler's militry.
