Answer:

In decimals A= 7.25 , B = 6.75 , C=5.2 and D=6.1

Explanation:

Given : Tom works part-time at a theme park.

Tom needs to complete his time sheet in decimals.

Consider the time sheet as shown below in image attached,

We need to calculate the value of A , B, C and D in decimals.

Since, A , B, C and D denotes the total work Tom Jackson did on respective days.

Thus, A is the total hours Tom Jackson worked along with the part-time hours he worked.

A= hour worked + fraction hour worked

A=7+(1)/(4)\\\\\\\text{Taking LCM , we get}\\\\\ A=(28+1)/(4)=(29)/(4)=7.25

Similarly for B, C and D

B= hour worked + fraction hour worked

B=6+(3)/(4)\\\\\\\text{Taking LCM , we get}\\\\\ B=(24+30)/(4)=(27)/(4)=6.75

C= hour worked + fraction hour worked

C=5+(1)/(5)\\\\\\\text{Taking LCM , we get}\\\\\ C=(25+1)/(5)=(26)/(5)=5.2

D = hour worked + fraction hour worked

D=6+(1)/(10)\\\\\\\text{Taking LCM , we get}\\\\\ D=(60+1)/(10)=(61)/(10)=6.1

Thus, In decimals A= 7.25 , B = 6.75 , C=5.2 and D=6.1
