4th minute - 38 hotdogs (49 - 38 = 11 hotdogs less)
6th minute - 27 hotdogs (38 - 27 = 11 hotdogs less)
8th minute - 16 hotdogs (27 - 16 = 11 hotdogs less)

As we can see, Chris ate 11 hotdogs in each 2 minutes, so in one minute he ate 11 ÷ 2 = 5.5 hotdogs. It also shows us that he probably began with 60 hotdogs.
