The slope - intercept is

y = mx + b

Where, m= slope and b = intercept

The line of the equation is y = 2x + 8

Relating y = 2x + 8 with y = mx + b

Then m = 2

Since the right bank passes through (2, 0)

Then we have,

(y - y1) = m(x - x1)

where, x1 = 2 and y1 = 0

(y - 0) = 2(x - 2)

Open the parentheses

y - 0 = 2*x - 2*2

y = 2x - 4

The equation of the line passing through the right bank is

y = 2x - 4
