\begin{gathered} -5(x-4x) \\ \end{gathered}

We can distribute the product of 5 with x-4x in the following way:


-5(x-4x)=-5(x)-5(-4x)=-5x+20x=15x

therefore, the simplified expression is -5x + 20x
