Estimate the heat of neutralization of H3PO4 in kJ/mol given these data:

Heat transferred = 2.4 x 102 J

Moles of H3PO4 = 1.5 x 10−3 mol

Moles of NaOH = 5.0 x 10−3 mol

Thank you for posting your question here. I hope the answer helps. Moles of water formed = 4.5 * 10^-3 mole since H+ + OH- = H2O and H+ is the limiting reactant.

230 J / 4.5 * 10^-3 mole = 51.1 kJ/mole
