Answer:

The answer is 1/2.

Explanation:

1 1/3-5/6=

1 1/3 needs to be turned into a improper fraction. 1 1/3=4/3.

Now we can do 4/3-5/6 but, the denominator has to be the same. We can make them 8/6-5/6.

*(Whatever happens to the denominator, has to happen to the numerator.)

8/6-5/6=3/6. Typically, the answer could be 3/6 but you could also simplify it to 1/2.

So, the answer would be 1/2.

Hopefully this helps you and sorry if it doesn't.
