Answer: 11 pieces


Explanation:

1. I turn the fractions into decimals (8 1/4=8.25) (3/4=0.75) because I think it’s easier to divide that way, but you don’t have to.

2. Then divide 8.25 (or 8 1/4) by 0.75 (or 3/4) to get the answer. (8.25÷0.75=11)
