4x=30 then x=7.5

35*5x
35-5(7.5)
35-37.5
=-2.5

I think this is the problem you were looking for but I'm not quite sure since I was confused about the extra 4 by the 4x in the question.

If 4 4X equals 30 to find the value of 35 minus 5X
