$38.75-$1.25= $37.50
$37.50/5=$7.50 per sandwich
To check our work:
$7.50 per sandwich x 5 sandwiches total=$37.50, then add the $1.25 for the bag of chips, you get $38.75
Your answer is: $7.50 per sandwich
