acceleration is equal to change in velocity / change in time

so 2 = vf-4 / 3

... 6 = vf-4
vf = 10 m/s

Answer:

Final speed of Georgia, v = 10 m/s

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that,

Initial speed of Georgia, u = 4 m/s

Acceleration of Georgia,
a=2\ m/s^2

Time taken, t = 3 seconds

Let v is the velocity with which Georgia is running now. It can be calculated using the first equation of motion as :

v=u+at

v=4+2* 3

v = 10 m/s

So, Georgia is now moving with a speed of 10 m/s. Hence, this is the required solution.
