Given:

\begin{gathered} f(x)=\text{ }(1)/(x) \\ g(x)=x^3 \end{gathered}

Required:

((f)/(g))(x)

Re-writing the given expression:

((f)/(g))(x)\text{ = }(f(x))/(g(x))

Hence:

\begin{gathered} (f(x))/(g(x))=\text{ }((1)/(x))/(x^3) \\ =\text{ }(1)/(x)*(1)/(x^3) \\ =\text{ }(1)/(x^4) \end{gathered}

Answer:

((f)/(g))(x)=(1)/(x^4)
