Determine if the following system of equations has no solutions, infinitely many

solutions or exactly one solution.
-2 + y = -9
-27 + 2y = -18

Answer:

Both have no solution, neither cross the x-axis.

-2+y=-9

Can be simplified to y=-9+2, the same as y= - 7.

-27+2y= - 18 is the same as y= - 18+27/2, which is simplified to y= 4.5
