Two bears are in the forest

Number of bears in the forest = 2

One of the bears invites all his friends over.

Let the number of friends come = x

Now there are 17 bears

i.e. Number of bears in the forest + Number of friends = 17

Susbatitute the value and solve:

2 + x = 17

x = 17 - 2

x = 15

Number of friends come = 15

Answer : Number of bears came over are 15
