That statement is true

Cultural standards in a certain society dictates what considered as 'good' or 'bad'. This mean that what considered as 'positive achievement' in one specific society might not be considered as so in other society. For example, for middle east society, maintaining virginity until marriage is considered as a positive individual achievement. In western countries, this might not be seen as so.
