In the spring, I asked the daisies
If his words were true,
And the clever, clear-eyed daisies
Always knew.
Now the fields are brown and barren,
Bitter autumn blows,
And of all the stupid asters
Not one knows.

D. barren

E. Autumn

In the above lines, “spring” and “daisies” are symbols of youth. “Brown and barren” are symbols of transition from youth to old age. Moreover, “Bitter autumn” symbolizes death.

The words spring and daises simbolize youth.

The seasonal symbolism, spring, tends to refer to youth as well as love, hope, and growth.

Spring can be viewed as te promise that everything can begin again, letting go and embracing something new. Brith, promise, new love, renewal, youth, roman, starting anew, birds, butterflies, tulips and fragant blossoms may be some spring symbols.
