Choose the point-slope form of the equation below that represents the line that passes through the point (6, -3) and has a slope of 1/2 .

y - 6 = (x + 3)
y = x - 6
y + 3 = (x - 6)
x - 2y = 12

y-y1=m(x-x1) is point slope form

slope=m
a point is (x1,y1)

given
slope=1/2
point=(6,-3)
x1=6
y1=-3

y-(-3)=1/2(x-6)
y+3=1/2(x-6)
not listed
if we were to put in standard form (ax+by=c)
2y+6=x-6
-x+2y=-12
x+2y=12

the answer is last option even though it is not in point slope form
