y=4/3x-8/3
You divide the entire equation by -3 so y can stand on its own side alone

A standard form of an equation is given as;

Ax + By = C

Where “A” should be a positive number, and there should not be any common factor among the entire three coefficients.

Thus the given equation in standard form is 4x – 3y = 8
