It would be lamda = speed / frequency

= 1.45 *103/230 = 149.35/230 = 0.64m

Answer : The wavelength of the sound signal is 6.30 m.

Explanation :

Formula used :

\lambda=(c)/(\\u)

where,

\lambda = wavelength of sound signal = ?

\\u = frequency =
230Hz=230s^(-1)

c = speed of sound under water =
1.45* 10^3m/s

Now put all the given values in the above formula, we get:

\lambda=(1.45* 10^3m/s)/(230s^(-1))

\lambda=6.30m

Therefore, the wavelength of the sound signal is 6.30 m.
