To find vertical component you need to find sinus of that angle and multiply it with magnitude of vector.

let Vc represent vertical component.

Vc = sin(32)*5 = 2.65

Explanation: To get answer to this problem you need to know trigonometry functions and their basic form.
If you have a triangle which has one of angles equal to 90 degrees you can use basic trigonometry.
sin( of some angle) = opposing side/hypotenuse
Hypotenuse in our case is 5 and our angle is 32. You need to express "opposing side" which represents vertical component.
