The answer is 4√7.
Area (A) of a square can be expressed as the square of its side (a):
A = a²
It is given:
A = 112 ft² = a²
⇒ a² = 112 ft²
⇒ a = √112 = √(16*7) = √16 * √7 = √(4²) * √7 = 4 * √7 = 4√7
