i have a test tomorrow about writing ratios in different ways i'm not sure how to tho. How do u do that????????!!!!HELP!!!!!

one way to write a ratio, is as a fraction. For example, you have 6/8, right, so now you basically rewrite that, but instead of the (/) sign, you put the (:) sign, which we normally use for writing ratios. That's the most common way of writing ratios, but also, you can do this;
*you have the same fraction, 6/8, but you basically say it in words. (six to eight) that's exactly how you would say it in words. Remember, your first number thats given is the number you ALWAYS write, or say first

There are 3 different ways to write a ratio this first is a fraction, 5/8. You could also write it using the word "to", 5 to 8. Finally you could write it using a colon, 5:8. Hope this clears things up for you!
