move the decimal to the left

0.000013

move over five times

0.000013=1.3

then put 10^-5

and here's the answer

1.3 x 10^-5

we have the number


0.000013

we know that


0.000013=(13)/(1000,000)= (13)/(10^(6))=13*10^(-6)=1.3*10^(-5)

therefore

the answer is


1.3*10^(-5)
