Length of the midsegment of trapezoid:
LM = ( AB + DC ) / 2
4 x + 3 = ( x + 8 + 187 ) / 2 / * 2 ( we will multiply both sides of the equation by 2 )
8 x + 6 = x + 8 + 187
8 x + 6 = x + 195
8 x - x = 195 - 6
7 x = 189
x = 189 : 7
Answer:
x = 27
