y = tan (√ t )
We will use chain rule.
( tan x ) ` = sec² x
( √ t ) ` = 1 / 2√t
y ` = sec² (√ t ) · 1 / 2√t
y` = 1/cos² ( √ t ) · 1 / 2√t
