you have x=speed then you have y=current.
V=distance divided bt time or time divided by volocity
the equation for downstream speed is X+Y the equation for upstream speed is X-Y. to solve you have
5(30+x)=10(30-x)
150+5x=300-10x
5x+10x=300-150
15x=150
X=10mph
