I believe the answer is: b. New forests and improved lands flourished around the nation.

Civilian conservation corps were a part of establishment that created during the new deal era in order to provide the citizens with jobs in government-funded projects. The jobs created by the civilian conservation crops are related to the maintenance of the environment such as park upgrade, taking care of land reservation, maintenance of natural resource, etc.
