I believe that both Claude Monet and Berthe Morisot were Impressionists.
Both of these artists lived and worked during the 19th century, which was the time when Impressionism was born. Monet is actually considered to be the founder of French Impressionism. Impressionism is the art movement which requires you to portray your 'impressions,' and inner thoughts about art.
