A recipe for lasagna calls for 98/125 lb of beef per person. Express this as a decimal. You want to use this recipe to make enough lasagna for 75 people. If beef at your grocery store costs $3 per pound, how much would you spend on the beef?

You would spend $___ on the beef.

0.784 is the decimal. Then you multiply it by 75 people and you get 58.8 pounds. Then multiply the 58.8 pounds by $3 dollars and you see you'll spend $176.4 on it. hope it helps
