n this case we have to have a common denominator in order to compare to the two fractions.
We know that 2 × 6= 12
So multiply the numerator and denominator by 6
×
Therefore, the amount of honey needed is teaspoons
So in total 6 bees are needed to make teaspoons of honey because we know that is the same as half
