How to write y= 2x-7 in function notation

i believe it would be f(x)=2x-7

The variable is x so to make it into function notation just replace y with any letter next to (the variable) in this case x. So the answer is g(x)=2x-7 this isn't the only way, it can be any letter. It can also be t(x)=2x-7. Hope this helps!
